Hospital Corporation of America has announced Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. and Bain Capital Partners will sell 30 million shares of its common stock. Based on HCA's trading price on Oct. 29, Bain Capital and KKR will receive $1.43 billion from the sale.
Medical Facilities Corporation has announced that it will release its 2013 third quarter financial results on Nov. 14.
Vanguard Surgical Center in Maywood, N.J., has selected PriorityOne Group for its IT implementation and management. The surgery center is managed by Murphy Healthcare.
Last week, Surgical Care Affiliates' stock price rose 15 percent from $24 per share to $27.60. SCA shares are currently trading on the NASDAQ Global Select Market with the ticker symbol SCAI.
