6 Recent ASC Management & Development Key Notes – AmSurg, ASCOA, USPI & More

Here are six recent news updates on ambulatory surgery center management and development companies.

AmSurg reported $242.8 million in fourth quarter revenue, up 17 percent from the same period in 2012. Revenues for the fiscal year 2013 were $1.08 billion, up 17 percent from $932.2 million in 2012.

United Surgical Partners International reported consolidated net revenues of $164.9 million for the fourth quarter, up 9 percent from $154.5 million in 2012. USPI announced $616.2 million in consolidated net revenues for 2013, up 14 percent from $540.2 million at the year-end of 2012.

Surgical Care Affiliates will release its fourth quarter and year end 2013 financial results on March 13.

Thomas Sprunk has joined Ambulatory Surgical Centers of America as a vice president of acquisitions and business development.

James Hogan recently became the director of strategic development with Symbion.

AmSurg raised more than $600 for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in its first 2014 charity event.
