6 Recent ASC Industry Leadership Moves

Here are six ambulatory surgery center leaders that recently took on new roles.

Eric Day has taken on the role of vice president of ambulatory services at Arise Medical Center in Austin, Texas. He previously served as the CEO of Infrahealth Group of Companies.

Luis Espinoza, MD, a gynecology surgeon, recently joined Pratt (Kan.) Regional Medical Center and The Surgicenter, which provides laparoscopic and gynecologic surgery.

Nancy Ho recently became the administrator of Sky Ridge Surgical Center in Lone Tree, Colo. Her previous experience includes serving as a consultant at Eyedeas Consulting and as center director of Northwest Regional Ambulatory Surgery Center.

Tom Kamarad recently became vice president of business development at Surgery Partners. He has previously held a leadership role at Gwinnett Medical Center and served as a regional vice president for Key Health.  

In July, Regina Richardson became the administrator of HCA – Sugarland (Texas) Surgery Center. Previously, she served as an associate administrator at Venice (Fla.) Regional Medical Center.

Simon Schwartz, associate managing director at Strategic Resources Group, has stepped into the role of associate executive director of the New Jersey Association of Ambulatory Surgery Centers. Mr. Schwartz also serves as the director of events and membership for the Colorado ASC Association and Oregon ASC Association.
