2011 Average Salaries Revealed for Physician Assistants, Nurse Anesthetists

Nurse anesthetists and physician assistants have been called two of the hottest jobs for 2011, based on average salary, type of education required, number of jobs available and years of experience required for the position, according to a San Francisco Chronicle report.

According to the report, nurse anesthetists will make on average $156,000 in 2011. Physician assistants will rake in an average of $92,000 this year.

Physician assistants must complete a college degree and amass some health-related work experience before entering a post-graduate program that takes about two years to complete.
