Lt. Col. Bruce Bright, the director of business development for The Sanders Trust, was recently profiled by the Birmingham (Ala.) News, where he discusses the transition from the Marines to the corporate world, and how the experience helps him succeed in business.
"In the U.S. Marine Corps, the biggest thing I looked for in somebody I was working with was integrity because in that job my life depended on them and their life depended on me, literally," says Lt. Col. Bright in the article. "In the business community, where my life doesn't depend on it but my livelihood depends on it — and I'm supporting my children and my family — the same is true for the men and women I'm working with and working for."
