Surgery Center of Evendale Accredited as Hospital, Caring for Inpatients

Surgery Center of Evendale in Cincinnati has added 29 inpatient rooms following a $9 million and has recently received accreditation as a hospital from the Joint Commission, meaning the physician-owned facility can now keep patients overnight, according to the Business Courier of Cincinnati. The organization eventually anticipates seeing 100 inpatients per month, comprising 10-15 percent of its case volume, according to the report.
