Advanced ASC (Redlands, Calif.). The ASC was newly built in 2004 and includes three operating rooms. The facility carries out almost any orthopedic procedure suitable for outpatient surgery and is made up of physicians from Loma Linda (Calif.) University's academic departments and physicians practicing at surrounding community hospitals.

Advanced Surgery Center of Northern Louisiana (Monroe). This ASC was founded in 2012 and began seeing patients in January 2013. Formed through a partnership between Tampa, Fla.-based SurgCenter Development and physicians, the practice offers orthopedic, neurology and otolaryngology services, with 71 percent of all cases being orthopedic.

Advanced Surgery Center of Orlando (Fla.). The surgery center's case mix is 81 percent orthopedics-focused. The facility is a Tampa, Fla.-based SurgCenter Development partner.

Advanced Surgery Center of Sarasota (Fla.). Founded in 2012, the center has maintained AAAHC accreditation since 2013. Its physicians perform complex, outpatient orthopedic, minimally invasive spine, robotic-assisted spine, neuro-spine and foot and ankle surgery in addition to performing total joint replacements. The ASC is a partnership between Sarasota's surgeons and Tampa, Fla.-based SurgCenter Development and 97 percent of its cases are orthopedic.

Ambulatory Surgical Center of Stevens Point (Wis.). The surgery center began offering joint replacement procedures in 2010 after initially opening in 2006. The practice's surgeons specialize in spine, pain, podiatry, ophthalmology and urology.

Andrews Institute Ambulatory Surgery Center (Gulf Breeze, Fla.). A joint venture between Baptist Health Care and local physicians, the orthopedics-driven center includes eight operating rooms outfitted by high-definition camera and video systems. Orthopedic surgeon James Andrew, MD, is a founding partner and medical director for the Andrews Institute.

Barrington (Ill.) Pain and Spine Institute. This ASC treats back and neck pain, sciatica, headaches, myofascial pain, pelvic pain, worker's comp injuries and more. Its physicians specialize in interventional pain medicine, and the center is accredited by The Joint Commission.

Bear Creek Surgery Center (Keller, Texas). This multispecialty outpatient surgical center was founded by eight physicians in 2014. Today, the practice specializes in podiatry, orthopedic, interventional spine and pain and ENT treatment, although 50 percent of its cases are orthopedic.

Bethesda (Md.) Chevy Chase Surgery Center. The ASC, a Tampa, Fla.-based SurgCenter Development facility, is 68 percent focused on orthopedic procedures. The multispecialty center is AAAHC-accredited.

Blue Ridge Surgery Center (Raleigh, N.C.). This Deerfield, Ill.-based Surgical Care Affiliates center opened in 1985 with four operating rooms and has expanded to a 13,000-square-foot facility outfitted with six operating rooms and three procedure rooms. Over 80 clinicians make up its medical staff and offer anesthesia, general surgery, gynecology, hand surgery, ophthalmology, orthopedics, pain management and more.

Bluegrass Specialty Surgery Center (Lexington, Ky.). Bluegrass Orthopaedic physicians founded the ASC in 2006. It includes a nursing staff, surgical technicians and support personnel who specialize in outpatient orthopedic surgery and pain management procedures, with 98 percent of its cases being orthopedic-based. Owned by Bluegrass Orthopaedics, the ASC runs in a partnership with Tampa, Fla.-based SurgCenter Development.

Boston Out-Patient Surgical Suites (Waltham, Mass.). The ASC offers a wide array of orthopedic procedures, such as ACL repairs and joint arthroscopy, as well as pain management and general surgery services. The AAAHC-accredited facility includes 27 physicians.

Boulder (Colo.) Surgery Center. This ASC was founded by surgeons and Boulder Community Health in 2005. Today, the facility treats acute or chronic injuries and degeneration of the musculoskeletal system and represents orthopedics, sports medicine, hand as well as foot and ankle specialists and physiatrists. Orthopedics cases make up 88 percent of the center's case mix while the other 22 percent are pain cases.

Brookside Surgery Center (Battle Creek, Mich.). This 11,540-square-foot multispecialty facility was established in 1997. It has three operating rooms and two procedure rooms and offers services in otolaryngology, orthopedics, general surgery, podiatry, ophthalmology and more.

Carmel (Ind.) Specialty Surgery Center. Established in 2012, the surgery center has a case mix that is 55 percent orthopedics-driven. Accredited by AAAHC, the facility is Tampa, Fla.-based SurgCenter Development partner.

Carrillo Surgery Center (Santa Barbara, Calif.). Established in 2005, this center offers care in orthopedic surgery, spine surgery, anesthesiology and pain management. It is Medicare-certified and performs both surgical and non-surgical procedures in an outpatient setting.

Cedar Orthopaedic Surgery Center (Cedar City, Utah). This center began providing outpatient total knee replacements in 2004 and added outpatient total hip replacements in 2005. The facility added outpatient spine procedures, such as microdiscectomies and laminectomy/decompressions, in 2008.

Cherry Creek Surgery Center (Denver). With a 55 percent orthopedics-focused case mix, the facility offers pain and rehabilitation services as well as spine procedures. The multispecialty, Tampa, Fla.-based SurgCenter Development center was opened in 2012.

Christiana Spine Center (Newark, Del.). Physicians at this center have performed minimally invasive spinal procedures in an outpatient setting since June 2000. The facility also includes EMG, MRI and ultrasounds.

City Place Surgery Center (Creve Coeur, Mo.). A 13,900-square-foot facility founded in 2000, the center includes four operating rooms. Its physicians specialize in orthopedics, pain management, spine surgery and plastic surgery and it is a Brentwood, Tenn.-based Meridian Surgical Partners facility.

Columbia River Surgery Center (Portland, Ore.). The center is driven by orthopedic procedures, which holds a 64 percent share of the facility's case mix. The center is partnered with Tampa, Fla.-based SurgCenter Development.

Cornerstone Surgicare (Pensacola, Fla.). The ASC includes specialists providing orthopedic care in minimally invasive and minimal incision joint and spinal procedures. Its physicians utilize arthroscopic equipment and systems and other advanced surgical equipment to increase operating room efficiency and improve patient treatment.

Crane Creek Surgery Center (Melbourne, Fla.). This 18,800-square-foot surgery center includes four operating rooms and two procedure rooms. Its physicians specialize in orthopedics, spine, general surgery, pain management and urology.

Creekside Surgery Center (Anchorage, Ala.). This center has provided ambulatory surgery services in orthopedic, ENT, podiatry, pain management and spine since November 2010. Creekside is comprised of local surgeons and Renton, Wash.-based Providence Health and Services.

Deer Pointe Surgical Center (Salisbury, Md.). Deer Pointe is a multispecialty outpatient surgical center offering orthopedic and pain management treatments. Of its total cases in 2015, 54 percent were orthopedic and it is made up of a partnership with SurgCenter Development based in Tampa, Fla.

Diagnostic and Interventional Surgical Center (Marina del Rey, Calif.) & DISC Surgery Center at Newport Beach (Calif.). These two surgery centers are affiliated with Marina del Rey-based DISC Sports & Spine Center. The Diagnostic and Interventional Surgical Center opened in 2006 and offers spine, orthopedics and pain management services in its three operating rooms. DISC Surgery Center's surgeons also perform minimally invasive spine surgery.

Eastwind Surgical (Westerville, Ohio). This 10,350-square-foot facility has performed neurosurgical and pain management procedures since 2007. Located within the Central Ohio Neurological Surgeons building, the center includes one operating room and two procedure rooms, and offers the Axis Jackson Surgical Table.

Englewood (Colo.) Surgery Center. This center offers orthopedic spine surgery, neurosurgery, neurology, physiatry, pain medicine and pharmacology. Four surgeons perform operations at the facility.

First State Surgery Center (Newark, Del.). The orthopedic surgery center offers pain management, podiatry, spine services and charity care for those in need. Over 4,000 orthopedic cases were performed at the practice in 2015.

Fox Valley Orthopedics ASC (Geneva, Ill.). Physicians at the ASC performs total joint replacement, cervical spine, lumbar spine, arthroscopic surgery, foot and ankle surgery and more. The center also includes board-certified anesthesiologists and pain management physicians.

GNS Surgery Center (Athens, Ga.). The center offers neurosurgery and pain management care through surgical and non-surgical means. With two operating rooms and a four-physician team, this ASC uses innovative neurosurgery and spine surgery techniques to treat patients.

Grandview - Camp Hill (Pa.) Surgery Center. A freestanding outpatient facility with four operating rooms and two procedure rooms, this ASC specializes in orthopedic, general surgery, ophthalmology and pain management services, among others. The Deerfield, Ill.-based Surgical Care Affiliates center was founded in 1989.  

Greensboro (N.C.) Specialty Surgical Center. Originally opened in 1996, this ASC moved to its current three-operating room, two-procedure room facility in 2003. The practice performs foot and ankle, gastrointestinal, ophthalmology, pediatric dentistry treatment and more.

Greenway Surgery Center (Minneapolis). The facility offers spine, orthopedic, general surgery, ENT, pain management, urology and podiatry care. Established in 2012, the center includes 15 physicians.

Hampden Surgery Center (Denver). The surgery center is heavily focused on orthopedics, with 91 percent of its cases falling in the specialty. The center is a Tampa, Fla.-based SurgCenter Development partner and includes 13 physicians.

Harborside SurgCenter (National Harbor, Md.). The center offers ENT, general surgery, orthopedics, pain management, spine and plastic surgery. Founded in 2011, Harborside's case mix is 50 percent orthopedics and the center is part of a partnership with Tampa, Fla.-based SurgCenter Development.

Harborside Surgery Center (Oxon Hill, Md.). The AAAHC-accredited center has an 83 percent orthopedics-driven case mix. It also offers general surgery and ENT services, and is partnered with Tampa, Fla.-based SurgCenter Development.

Hawthorn Surgery Center (Vernon Hills, Ill.). The Deerfield, Ill.-based Surgical Care Affiliates center opened in 1980 and currently uses three operating rooms and one procedure room for orthopedics, podiatry, pain management, ENT, gynecology, plastics, dentistry and general surgery cases. Located within the Hawthorn Health Center, this ASC provides anesthesia services via Park Ridge (Ill.) Anesthesia at Lutheran General Hospital.

Honolulu (Hawaii) Sports & Spine Surgery Center. A joint venture between its physician owners and Nashville, Tenn.-based Surgery Partners, Honolulu Sports & Spine Surgery Center offers orthopedics, spine, neurology and pain management services. It is licensed by the Hawaii Department of Health Services and certified by CMS.

Indian Lake Surgery Center (Hendersonville, Tenn.). The ASC boasts a case mix that is 89 percent orthopedic procedures and it is a Tampa, Fla.-based SurgCenter Development partner. The Joint Commission-accredited ASC includes eight physician owners.

Kentucky Surgery Center (Lexington). After opening in 1986, this center expanded in 2004 and currently includes seven operating rooms and three procedure rooms. The facility physicians perform general surgery, ENT, gynecology, orthopedic and other specialty procedures.

Kerlan-Jobe Surgery Center (Los Angeles). Originally founded in 1965 as the Southwestern Orthopaedic Medical Group, the Kerlan Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic adopted its current name in 1985. Today, the practice has a surgery center where its surgeons provide sports medicine, pain medicine, foot and ankle, hand and wrist, shoulder and upper extremity, back and spine and sports neurology services.

Lakeside Surgery Center (Omaha). This freestanding outpatient surgical center specializes in ENT, ophthalmology, general surgery, OB-GYN, orthopedics, pain management, plastic and cosmetic surgery and urology. It is an affiliate of Deerfield, Ill.-based Surgical Care Affiliates.

Laser Spine Institute (Tampa, Fla.). Founded in Tampa in 2005, Laser Spine Institute has grown to seven facilities across the country. The organization provides various types of minimally invasive decompression and stabilization procedures as well as regenerative medicine. 

Leonardtown (Md.) Surgery Center. The multispecialty center's case mix is 56 percent orthopedics. Physicians at the Tampa, Fla.-based SurgCenter Development-affiliated facility also offer care in ENT, general surgery, endoscopy and pain management.

Longleaf Surgery Center (New Port Richey, Fla.). The physician-owned ASC is accredited by The Joint Commission. Orthopedics holds a 69 percent share in the surgery center's case mix.

Loveland (Colo.) Surgery Center. The center has three operating rooms and separate pre- and postsurgical areas. Owned by local doctors, accredited by The Joint Commission and CMS-certified, the center's physicians specialize in ENT, spine, facial plastics and reconstructive surgery, orthopedics and pain management.

Mallard Creek Surgery Center (Charlotte, N.C.). The center is fully orthopedics-driven, offering foot and ankle, knee, hand, elbow and shoulder surgery in addition to cartilage restoration, sports-related treatment and pain management. It is one of few physician-owned ASCs to be awarded a demonstration project from North Carolina.

Marion Surgery Center (Ocala, Fla.). Established in 2014, the surgery center's case mix is 59 percent orthopedics-driven. Partnered with Tampa, Fla.-based SurgCenter Development, the facility includes two operating rooms, one procedure room and one recovery room.

Mayfield Spine Surgery Center (Cincinnati). The center includes three operating rooms, one pain procedure suite and 11 pre/postoperative patient rooms. Formerly known as The Christ Hospital Spine Surgery Center, the facility currently offers spinal decompression/discectomy, anterior cervical discectomy and fusion, lumbar fusion, kyphoplasty, pain stimulator implants, carpal tunnel and more.

Memorial Spine & Neuroscience Center (South Bend, Ind.). This center includes a preoperative patient care center and a post-anesthesia care unit. It offers minimally invasive spine surgery, head and neck surgery and pain management procedures in addition to peripheral nerve surgery.

Metro Specialty in Jeffersonville (Ind.). The center was founded in 2008 and offers orthopedic surgery, pain management, podiatry, plastic surgery and ENT. The center's orthopedic cases represent 54 percent of its total cases and it partners with Tampa, Fla.-based SurgCenter Development.

Midwest Specialty Surgery Center (Indianapolis). The 9,100-square-foot surgical center exclusively serves orthopedic patients. It includes two operating rooms and is a Tampa, Fla.-based SurgCenter Development partner.

Mile High Surgery Center (Greenwood Village, Colo.). The surgery center encompasses 7,000 square feet and has a 77 percent orthopedics-focused case load. The ASC is Joint Commission-accredited and Tampa, Fla.-based SurgCenter Development-affiliated.

Missoula (Mont.) Bone & Joint Surgery Center. This freestanding surgery center was founded in 2001. Today, it specializes in orthopedic, plastic and reconstructive outpatient surgeries.

Mobile (Ala.) Surgery Center. Roughly 150,000 surgeries have taken place at this center since its founding in 1984. The practice specializes in orthopedics, ophthalmology, pain management, podiatry, plastic surgery, gynecology and oral surgery.

Moore Clinic Outpatient Surgery Center (Lexington, S.C.). The center was founded by Moore Clinic Physicians in 2007 and specializes in orthopedics. The ASC's partners develop and manage the facility.

Munster (Ind.) Specialty Surgery Center. With an 85 percent orthopedics-driven case load, the multispecialty facility is AAAHC accredited. It is also partners with Tampa, Fla.-based SurgCenter Development.

Musculoskeletal Surgery Center (Denver). The center specializes in general surgery, orthopedics, plastic surgery, podiatry and pain management services. It offers a spine surgery program and a convalescent care center.

NeoSpine and Pain Surgery Center (Puyallup, Wash.). The Joint Commission-accredited multispecialty ASC offers spine surgery, pain management and diagnostic techniques. Richard Wohns, MD, founded the center.

Neurological Institute Ambulatory Surgery Center (Savannah, Ga.). This AAAHC-accredited ASC features fully equipped operating rooms and a procedure room. Ten providers practice out of the center, which has additional branches in Statesboro, Ga., and Bluffton Island, S.C.

NeuroSpine and Pain Surgery Center (Ft. Wayne, Ind.). The multispecialty ASC opened in 2007 and has seven neurosurgeons specializing in treating back pain, neurosurgery, degenerative disc disease and carpal tunnel syndrome. The ASC offers SpineMed, a non-surgical disc decompression treatment.

New Albany (Ohio) Surgery Center. This 16,000-square-foot surgery center is a joint venture between New Albany physicians and Columbus-based Mount Carmel Health System. With 13 providers practicing out of the center, it specializes in orthopedic surgery.

New England Baptist Hospital's Outpatient Care Center (Dedham, Mass.). The hospital's orthopedic-driven ASC is 66,000 square feet. It heavily focuses on sports medicine and orthopedic surgery with an emphasis on outpatient surgery, pain management and rehabilitation services.

North American Spine (Dallas). The orthopedic spine surgery, neurosurgery and interventional pain management-facing ASC specializes in minimally invasive procedures. Providers include surgeons, anesthesiologists, registered nurses and medical technicians.

North Pointe Surgery Centers (Lancaster & Lebanon, Pa.). The orthopedic-facing North Pointe Surgery Centers has two locations in Pennsylvania. The Joint Commission awarded North Pointe Surgery Center's Lancaster location its Gold Seal of Approval. The Lebanon location is in the process of earning certification.

NorthPointe Surgical Suites (Zanesville, Ohio). The surgery center is heavily focused on orthopedic care, with 98 percent of its cases falling in that specialty. Opened in 2016, the ASC is a Tampa, Fla.-based SurgCenter Development partner and a joint venture between Orthopaedic Associates of Zanesville, Sports Medicine Zanesville and Orthopaedic Specialists and Sports Medicine of Newark (Ohio).

Northwest Regional Surgery Center (Merrillville, Ind.). The ASC features a 73 percent orthopedics case mix. The center is an affiliate of Tampa, Fla.-based SurgCenter Development.

Ohio Specialty Surgical Suites (North Canton). The Tampa, Fla.-based SurgCenter Development partner has a 93 percent orthopedics-focused case mix. In 2016, the ASC became the first in the United States to achieve The Joint Commission's Advanced Certification for Total Hip and Total Knee Replacement.

Oregon Outpatient Surgery Center (Tigard). This multispecialty ASC opened in 2004. The AAAHC-accredited center specializes in orthopedics and also features pain management, podiatry, ENT and general surgery services. Seven providers practice out of the ASC.

The Orthopaedic Surgery Center (Boardman, Ohio). The 11,600-square ASC is orthopedics-focused and offers joint replacements, sports medicine services, hand, foot and ankle care as well as fracture and trauma care. The center is accredited by The Joint Commission.

Orthopaedic & Spine Center of Southern Colorado (Colorado Springs). With a 75 percent orthopedic, 25 percent pain management case load makeup, this Colorado-based center caters to several providers. The center is 30,000 square feet, features six operating rooms and nine private suites for patients in need of an overnight stay. Nineteen providers practice out of the center.

Orthopaedic Surgery Center of La Jolla (Calif.). Orthopaedic Surgery Center of La Jolla is heavily based in orthopedics. The AAAHC-accredited the facility has 50 providers on staff.

Orthopedic Associates ASC (Oklahoma City). With five locations throughout Oklahoma, Orthopedic Associates primarily handles an orthopedic case load, but also offers sports medicine and spine services. Eleven providers practice out of the center which has served Oklahoma for more than 40 years.

The Orthopedic & Sports Institute of the Fox Valley (Appleton, Wis.). Ten providers practice out of this Wisconsin-based center featuring seven advanced practice nurses and physician assistants on staff. The institute partnered with six healthcare partners to offer physical therapy and other patient-facing services.

Orthopedic Surgery Center of Orange County (Newport Beach, Calif.). This AAAHC-accredited center has 36 providers on staff with a majority based in sports medicine. A joint venture between surgeons and Newport Beach, Calif.-based Hoag Orthopedic Institute, the center opened in 1999 adjacent to Hoag Hospital before it relocated in May 2006. The ASC is a subsidiary of Hoag Orthopedic Institute.

Pacific Heights Surgery Center (San Francisco). The surgery center specializes in orthopedics, podiatry and hand surgery as well as sports medicine. The center has 13 physicians on staff and received AAAHC accreditation.

Paris (Texas) Surgery Center. This multispecialty center opened in 2014 with the developmental support of Tampa, Fla.-based SurgCenter Development. Five orthopedic surgeons practice out of the center with other providers specializing in gynecology, ophthalmology and pain management among others. The center began performing total joint replacements in July 2015.

Parkway Surgery Center (Hagerstown, Md.). With a staff of neurosurgeons, physiatrists, pain specialists, registered nurses and physician assistants, this ASC offers patients a variety of spine and non-invasive treatments. This Deerfied, Ill.-based Surgical Care Affiliates center has three spine-facing physicians and three pain management-facing physicians on staff.

Paulsen Street Surgery Center (Savannah, Ga.). The Paulsen Street Surgery Center is part of Memorial University Medical Center. The ambulatory care unit performs several orthopedic, cardiac catheterization and laparoscopic services.

Peak One Surgery Center (Frisco, Colo.). The ASC, an affiliate of Lakewood, Colo.-based Pinnacle III, is 50 percent orthopedics. Accredited by AAAHC, the surgery center features three operating rooms and 22 physicians.

Physicians Surgical Care Center (Winter Park, Fla.). A Deerfield, Ill.-based Surgical Care Affiliates partner, Physicians Surgical Care Center offers orthopedic, pain management, plastic surgery, general surgery, otorhinolaryngology and anesthesia services. The center opened in 1993 and its physicians now care for 9,000 patients annually.

Piccard Surgery Center (Rockville, Md.). The ASC's case mix is 69 percent orthopedic procedures. Established in 2009, the surgery center is affiliated with Tampa, Fla.-based SurgCenter Development and accredited by AAAHC.

Point of Rocks (Md.) Surgery Center. The ASC is heavily focused on orthopedics, with 86 percent of cases driven by the specialty. The center is a Tampa, Fla.-based SurgCenter Development affiliate.

Pointe West Surgery Center & East Surgery Center (Bradenton, Fla.). The Pointe West Surgery Center and East Surgery Center are part of Coastal Orthopedics. Seventeen physicians practice out of Coastal Orthopedics, which opened in 1973.

Potomac View Surgery Center (Oxon Hill, Md.). The Joint Commission-accredited ASC features a 62 percent orthopedics-driven case load. The facility also offers ENT procedures and is a Tampa, Fla.-based SurgCenter Development partner.

Prairie Surgicare (Peoria, Ill.). Three providers practice out of Prairie Surgicare which is the surgical suite of Prairie Spine & Pain Institute. The facility received a perfect accreditation score from AAAHC. Richard Kube, MD, is the founder and owner of both Prairie SurgiCare and Prairie Spine & Pain Institute.

Precision Surgery Center (Wichita, Kan.). Precision Surgery Center is an outpatient orthopedic-driven ASC, with about 62 percent of its case mix dedicated to orthopedics. The ASC is partnered with Tampa, Fla.-based SurgCenter Development.

Premier at Exton (Pa.) Surgery Center. Premier at Exton Surgery Center's case load is 63 percent orthopedics procedures. The Tampa, Fla.-based SurgCenter Development affiliate encompasses 10,000 square feet and offers pain management and podiatric services in addition to orthopedic surgery.

Premier Surgery Center (Santa Barbara, Calif.). A Santa Barbara-based MedBridge center, Premier Surgery Center specializes primarily in orthopedic surgery. Fifteen providers perform cases at the ASC, focused on orthopedic surgery, pain management, podiatry, general surgery and sports medicine.

Presidio Surgery Center (San Francisco). A Deerfield, Ill.-based Surgical Care Affiliates partner, Presidio Surgery Center opened in 1989. The Joint Commission-accredited center specializes in several specialties including orthopedics. Twenty orthopedic surgeons practice out of the center, which features a total joint replacement program.

Red Cedar Surgery Center (Haslett, Mich.). The Tampa, Fla.-based SurgCenter Development partner is exclusively focused on orthopedics. Opened in 2016, the 8,300-square-foot center includes one operating room and two procedure rooms.  

Roanoke (Va.) Ambulatory Surgery Center. Dallas-based ASD Management manages Roanoke Ambulatory Surgery Center in partnership with Virginia Orthopaedics and Carilion Clinic Orthopedics, both based in Roanoke. The center also includes podiatry and pain management.

Seaside Surgery Center (Naples, Fla.). The ASC features a case load that is 75 percent orthopedics, including total and partial joint replacements. The Tampa, Fla.-based SurgCenter Development partner encompasses 7,000 square feet and is accredited by The Joint Commission.

Slocum Surgery Center (Eugene, Ore.). Slocum Surgery Center is part of the Slocum Center for Orthopedics & Sports Medicine. The center has 19 providers focusing exclusively in orthopedics.

South Ogden (Utah) Specialty Surgical Center. The facility, which is affiliated with Tampa, Fla.-based SurgCenter Development, focuses 59 percent of its cases in the orthopedics field. In addition to orthopedics, the center's physicians also offer pain management, ENT and oral/maxillofacial services.

Southeast Ohio Surgical Suites (Athens). The 13,000-square-foot surgical center offers only orthopedics services. Opened in 2015, the center is a Tampa, Fla.-based SurgCenter Development affiliate.

Spine & Sports Surgery Center (Campbell, Calif.). The Spine & Sport Surgery Center is both AAAHC-accredited and a deemed Medicare-certified facility. Three providers practice out of the center which performs both spine, pain management and orthopedic surgery.

Spine Care Specialists (Munster, Ind.). The surgery center caters to several patients from nearby Chicago. With a focus on minimally invasive spine procedures, the center has two physicians and a nurse practitioner on staff.

Spine Centers of America (Glen Rock, N.J.). With three locations throughout New Jersey, Spine Centers of America offers endoscopic spine surgery. Bryan Massoud, MD, is the center's founder and head surgeon. He has performed more than 1,000 minimally invasive endoscopic techniques since 2006.

The Spine Institute of Southern New Jersey (Marlton, N.J.). Joan O'Shea, MD, founded the practice and serves as the main surgeon along with Jonathan Bussey, MD. The center focuses solely on spinal procedures and features both cervical as well as lumbar artificial disc replacement. The practice has six locations.

Spine Surgery Center of Eugene (Ore.). Glenn L. Keiper Jr., MD, opened the ASC with associates in 2007. CMS certified the center, which is also AAAHC-accredited. The center and its physicians approach every patient with 720 degrees of care method Dr. Keiper developed and instills in all his colleagues.

Squaw Peak Surgical Facility (Phoenix). Squaw Peak Surgical Facility is a part of DISC, the Desert Institute for Spine Care. Anthony Yeung, MD, founded the surgical facility in 1998 to complement his practice. The facility has two operating rooms for spinal procedures, especially those with a minimally invasive focus.

Stamford (Conn.) ASC. Fourteen physician owners are partners in Stamford ASC. Ken Rosenquest serves as the center's administrator. The center was designed specifically for orthopedic and neurosurgery.

Summit Surgery Center (Santa Barbara, Calif.). A Santa Barbara-based MedBridge developed and managed center, Summit Surgery Center has 14 providers on staff. The center specializes in orthopedic surgery, podiatry, pain management, general surgery and sports medicine.

Sunset Ridge Surgery Center (Las Vegas). A Tampa, Fla.-based SurgCenter Development partner, the ASC's case load is 93 percent orthopedics procedures. The facility was established in 2013 and features two operating rooms.

SurgCenter at Pima Crossing (Scottsdale, Ariz.). The ASC features a case mix that is 70 percent orthopedics-driven. The AAAHC-accredited facility is a Tampa, Fla.-based SurgCenter Development affiliate, and it publishes prices for services on its website.  

SurgCenter Gilbert (Ariz.). The Tampa, Fla.-based SurgCenter Development-affiliated surgery center features a case mix that is 63 percent orthopedics-driven. Opened in 2013, the ASC is AAAHC-accredited.  

SurgCenter Northeast (Petersburg, Fla.). Established in 2013, the surgery center's case mix is 69 percent orthopedics-focused. SurgCenter Northeast is affiliated with Tampa, Fla.-based SurgCenter Development.

SurgCenter of Glen Burnie (Md.). The ASC's case load is 57 percent orthopedic procedures. The Tampa, Fla.-based SurgCenter Development partner features one operating room and one procedure room.

SurgCenter of Greater Phoenix (Scottsdale, Ariz.). This Tampa, Fla.-based SurgCenter Development affiliate includes eight physicians. SurgCenter of Greater Phoenix features a case load that is 85 percent orthopedics procedures.

SurgCenter of Orange Park (Fla.). The surgery center's case mix is 85 percent orthopedics-driven. SurgCenter of Orange Park is partnered with Tampa, Fla.-based SurgCenter Development and encompasses over 7,200 square feet.

SurgCenter of Palm Beach Gardens (Fla.). A group of physicians and Tampa, Fla.-based SurgCenter Development partnered to develop this 6,200-square-foot center. With a 95 percent orthopedic case load, the physicians of SurgCenter of Palm Beach Gardens specialize in spine surgery, orthopedics, joint replacement, pain management and pediatric orthopedics.

SurgCenter of Plano (Texas). Opened in 2014, a group of physicians and Tampa, Fla.-based SurgCenter Development started SurgCenter of Plano. The center has two private suites in a recovery room allowing for 23-hour observations if needed. The center specializes in orthopedics, total joint, podiatry, neurosurgery, pain management and ENT services.

SurgCenter of the Potomac (Bethesda, Md.). The Tampa, Fla.-based SurgCenter Development partner is heavily focused on orthopedics, with 92 percent of its cases falling in the specialty. SurgCenter of the Potomac is AAAHC-accredited and features one operating room as well as two procedure rooms.

SurgCenter Pinellas (Largo, Fla.). The center, a Tampa, Fla.-based SurgCenter Development affiliate, has a 62 percent orthopedics-focused case mix. Surge Center Pinellas is accredited by AAAHC.  

SurgCenter Tucson (Ariz.). The surgical facility's case load is 66 percent orthopedics-driven. SurgCenter Tucson is affiliated with Tampa, Fla.-based SurgCenter Development.

The Surgery Center at Lutheran (Wheat Ridge, Colo.). This 15,000-square-foot facility opened in 2006. It features four operating rooms and a procedure room. The center has a 71 percent orthopedic case load and is AAAHC-accredited.

The Surgery Center of Easton (Md.). A group of physicians founded Delmarva Orthopedic Clinic in 1971, which evolved into The Orthopedic Center and includes The Surgery Center of Easton. The ASC focuses on sports medicine, physical therapy and orthopedic surgery. On July 1, 2016, the group became an official partner of Chestertown-based University of Maryland Shore Regional Health.

Surgery Center of Reno (Nev.). This ASC is partnered with Westchester, Ill.-based Regent Surgical Health. It connects to nearby St. Mary's Medical Center by underground tunnel. The multispecialty ASC has a strong orthopedic focus and was recognized in 2013 for excellence among Regent Surgical Health sites.

Surgery Center of Viera (Melbourne, Fla.). The ASC specializes in spinal procedures and vhas special decontamination and sterilization rooms to maintain high levels of infection control. The surgery center recently added an open S-Scan MRI and can now provide in-house scans for patients.

Surgical Center of the Rockies (Colorado Springs, Colo.). The Surgical Center of the Rockies specializes in orthopedics, sports medicine and hand surgery. With eight providers on staff, the center is Medicare-certified and accredited by the AAAHC.

Surgical Specialty Center of Mid-Atlantic (Bethesda, Md.). A Tampa, Fla.-based SurgCenter Development partner, the center's case mix is 89 percent orthopedics procedures. Encompassing 6,000 square feet, the center offers procedures using Stryker's Mako robotic-arm assisted technology.

Texas Health Orthopedic Surgery Center Flower Mound (Texas.). Deerfield, Ill.-based Surgical Care Affiliates backs this multispecialty ASC. The center includes nine providers specializing in general orthopedics.

Tri State Advanced Surgery Center (Marion, Ark.). The AAAHC-accredited surgery center features a case mix that is 55 percent orthopedics-driven. The ASC includes two operating rooms and two procedure rooms and is an affiliate of Tampa, Fla.-based SurgCenter Development.

Triangle Orthopaedics Surgery Center (Raleigh, N.C.). Triangle Orthopaedic Associates opened the Triangle Orthopaedics Surgery Center in the spring of 2013. The ASC has 20 physicians on staff and is AAAHC-accredited.

Two Rivers Surgical Center (Eugene, Ore.). The center specializes in outpatient spine surgery and pain management. It opened in July 2006 and encompasses 7,911-square-feet. Brentwood, Tenn.-based Meridian Surgical Partners developed the center.

University Center for Ambulatory Surgery (Somerset, N.J.). This orthopedic, pain management, urology and urogynecology center is 12,000 square feet. The center features three operating rooms. The Joint Commission awarded the ASC its Gold Seal of Approval.

Vail (Colo.) Valley Surgery Center. This multispecialty ASC is a joint venture between Vail Valley Medical Center and 25 physician investors. The center is AAAHC-accredited and focuses heavily on orthopedic, pain management, gastroenterology and ophthalmology.

West Park Surgery Center (Cape Girardeau, Mo.). This surgery center specializes in neurosurgery, pain management and rehabilitation. Five providers perform surgery at West Park Surgery Center.

Western Connecticut Orthopedic Surgery Center (Danbury, Conn.). The ASC is the site of the first single-day, outpatient total knee replacement in the Danbury area. The ASC, one of Danbury Orthopedics' centers for excellence, 90 percent orthopedics case load, 5 percent spine and 5 percent total joints.

White Fence Surgical Suites (New Albany, Ohio). The Tampa, Fla.-based SurgCenter Development partner's case load is 79 percent orthopedics procedures. The center was opened in 2013.

Wisconsin Specialty Surgery Center (Kenosha). Featuring a 50 percent orthopedic case load, the Wisconsin Specialty Surgery Center has 10 providers on staff, three physician assistants and a separate anesthesia department. The center was awarded a Gold Seal of Approval from The Joint Commission.
