Arizona Congressmen Join Suit Against Healthcare Reform Law
Three Republican Congressmen from Arizona — Jeff Flake, Trent Franks and John Shadegg — have joined a lawsuit filed by the Goldwater Institute, a conservative think tank, against the healthcare reform law, according to a report by The Hill.
The suit specifically takes aim at the creation of the Independent Payment Advisory Board and how patients' medical records will be handled under the law, according to the report.
The suit follows numerous other challenges by state Attorneys General and conservative groups.
