Physicians Endoscopy purchased a minority stake in East Patchogue, N.Y.-based Great South Bay Endoscopy.

1. The companies finalized the deal May 12.
2. Physicians Endoscopy will manage both the business and operational services of Great South Bay Endoscopy.
3. Great South Bay Endoscopy is a two-room ASC. It opened in 2014 and performs more than 5,000 annual cases. The center has five physicians.
4. GSBE Medical Director Ravi Singh, MD, said in a release, "Partnering with a management company to bring our center to the next level was a no-brainer. We had considered it for a while and then decided that it was the right next step for us."
