Washington state jurors ordered Olympus Corp. to pay Seattle-based Virginia Mason Medical Center $6.6 million after a patient contracted an infection because of an improperly cleaned Olympus duodenoscope.

The FDA voluntary recalled Fujifilm's ED-530XT duodenoscopes.

Ironwood Pharmaceuticals reported results from its phase IIB trial for IW-3718, its gastroesophageal reflux disease therapy.

EndoGastric Solutions is adding Martin Reid and Ted Stephens to its executive leadership team.
