EndoChoice has released study data further supporting the efficacy of its Fuse Full Spectrum Endoscopy System.
Here are four things to know about the new data.
• Researchers at multiple international sites reported seeing 94 percent more anatomy with the Fuse system.
• The researchers reported that the visual acuity afforded by the Fuse system had a significant impact on their ability to navigate the GI tract and detect precancerous lesions.
• Economic analysis indicated that use of the Fuse system could result in the annual prevention of 10,318 new cases of colorectal cancer in the United States.
• Additionally, it was predicted that the Fuse system could generate $300 million in savings related to colorectal cancer care.
The studies were presented at the American College of Gastroenterology Annual Scientific Session in Philadelphia and the United European Gastroenterology Week in Vienna, Austria.
