Jacksonville Beach (Fla.) Surgery Center, affiliated with Symbion, recently acquired the Fuse endoscopy system.

The surgery center is the first provider in the state to acquire the flexible GI endoscope. The Fuse system has three cameras that provide a 330 degree viewing range, while traditional scopes provide a 170 degree viewing range.

"We are pleased to be among just a handful of healthcare providers in the country offering this groundbreaking new technology," said Tim Beluscak, administrator of the center, according to the report.
