Inspira Health Network, Thomas Jefferson University & Health System partner for key clinical services, including GI

Elmer, N J.-based Inspira Health Network announced an affiliation with Philadelphia-based Thomas Jefferson University and Health System that will expand a number of Inspira's key clinical programs, including gastroenterology.

Under the affiliation, Thomas Jefferson will bring its physicians and clinical expertise to South Jersey, where Inspira locations are based. Inspira recently completed construction of a comprehensive gastroenterology center in Woodbury, N.J., where Thomas Jefferson physicians will provide advanced diagnostic services. Thomas Jefferson's division of gastroenterology and hepatology is one of the nation's leading programs for the diagnosis, treatment, research and education of digestive tract and liver diseases.

 

Additionally, as part of the relationship, Inspira and Jefferson will work together to develop a jointly owned and staffed ambulatory care facility to be built in Gloucester County.
