Three new gastroenterologists have joined NYU Langone Medical Center in New York, according to a news release.
The new faculty members joining the medical center's division of gastroenterology are Sophie Balzora, MD, Lea Ann Chen, MD, and Seth Gross.
Dr. Balzora's primary clinical focus is digestive diseases and conditions. She received her MD from George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences in Washington, D.C., and completed her residency in internal medicine at Columbia University Medical Center.
Dr. Chen specializes in treating inflammatory bowel diseases. She received her MD from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Mo. Dr. Chen completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City, and a fellowship in gastroenterology at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore.
Dr. Gross specialties include the diagnosis and treatment of small bowel disease and gastrointestinal malignancies. He received his MD from Sackler School of Medicine-NY State American Program. Dr. Gross completed an internship and residency at North Shore University Hospital and a gastroenterology fellowship at Mayo Clinic.
