Gastroenterologist Benjamin Schmid, MD, received the annual McAuley Clinic Gratitude Award for volunteering at the Franciscan St. Margaret Health – Hammond (Ind.) clinic, according to a VALPOLIFE report.
Dr. Schmid has been with the hospital for 34 years and has volunteered at the McAuley Clinic since it opened in 1996.
