Annie Penn Hospital in Reidsville, N.C., plans to file a certificate of need for a $2.2 million project that would expand its endoscopy services, according to a Triad Business Journal report.
The hospital has two endoscopy rooms which are operating above capacity. If the hospital's CON is approved it will add a third endoscopy room. Additionally, one of the existing endoscopy rooms will be expanded to handle more complex procedures.
If the state approves the hospital's plan, the project will reach completion in October 2015.
