Thomas Deas Jr., MD, is the CMO of the health information exchange SandlotConnect. Dr. Deas practices with Gastroenterology Associates of North Texas, based in Fort Worth. He also serves as medical director of Forth Worth Endoscopy Center and SW Fort Worth Endoscopy Center. He completed his residency and fellowship training at the Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center in San Antonio.
G. Anton Decker, MBBch, is the CMO of Banner Medical Group, based in Phoenix. He assumed the leadership position in 2012. Dr. Decker completed his medical degree at the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa. He then underwent his residency and fellowship training at Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, Ariz., and Rochester, Minn.
Douglas K. Fernandez, MD, is the CMO of the Memorial Hermann ACO, as well as the president and physician-in-chief of the Memorial Herman Physician Network MHMD. He practices with Memorial Hermann, which has several locations throughout Texas. He completed his GI fellowship training at the Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center in San Antonio.
Adam Mezoff, MD, CPE, is the vice president and CMO of The Children's Medical Center of Dayton (Ohio). Dr. Mezoff, a pediatric gastroenterologist, has also held a leadership role with Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. He also completed his fellowship training at Cincinnati Children's.
Irving Pike, MD, FACG, FASGE, is the CMO of John Muir Health, based in Concord, Calif. Dr. Pike was the first to hold the CMO position, effective in 2012, and continues to serve in that capacity. Dr. Pike is also the president of the GI Quality Improvement Consortium. He completed his fellowship training at the University of Texas Health Science Center and Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas.
John J. Walker, MD, is the CMO of Cornerstone Healthcare, based in High Point, N.C. He completed his medical degree, residency and fellowship at the State University of New York Health Science Center.
