ASC Communications, together with the ASC Association, will be hosting its 16th Annual ASC Conference on Improving the Profitability of ASCs and Business and Legal Issues for ASCs from Oct. 8-10 in Chicago. We have a really interesting program including speakers such as Norm Ornstein of the American Enterprise Institute on the Politics of HealthCare Reform, Dr. Steve Stern from United Healthcare (medical director of orthopedics and spine at United HealthCare), Bill Lane, the long-time speech writer for Jack Welch and author of "Jacked Up," Kathy Bryant, president of the ASC Association, and Bruce Bright, together with Hall of Fame football player Bart Starr, on working with Generation Y.  

We also have outstanding panels on the "Best Ideas for ASCs Now" with such leading industry CEOs and officers as Brent Lambert, Richard Francis, Tom Mallon and Rick Pence, and an outstanding panel on "Key Concepts to Improve the Profitability of ASCs: A Focus on Orthopedics, Gastroenterology and Ophthalmology" with Barry Tanner, Buddy Bacon, Bill Southwick and Naya Kehayes.     

There are, in total, more than 70 sessions and more than 97 speakers.
