Texas Health Surgery Center Denton Named 'Healthiest Employer' by Dallas Newspaper
Texas Health Surgery Center Denton has been named a "healthiest employer" by the Dallas Business Journal.
Under administrator Chuck Lopez' direction, the surgery center has implemented reduced health insurance premiums for participation in a wellness program. The program includes health risk assessments, biometric screenings and a wellness portal for employees to monitor and improve health and wellness credits.
The company subsidizes the purchase of pedometers for benefit-eligible employees.
