Ambulatory Surgery Center at Plains Regional Medical Center Sees Jump in Patient Satisfaction
Plains Regional Medical Center's ambulatory surgery department experienced gains in patient satisfaction last year, according to a Clovis News Journal report.
According to Hoyt Skabelund, PRMC administrator, the "Top Improver" award from Press Ganey "means PRMC's ambulatory surgery center went from being a good center to being a great center." The center increased its scores on the "likelihood to recommend" survey question since the first quarter of 2009.
Press Ganey's "Top Improver" award is given to clients that have shown continuous improvement. In 2010, the ambulatory surgery department at PRMC saw an increase in patient satisfaction scores from 85 to 92.
