Which state has the fewest physicians per capita?

The Association of American Medical Colleges expects there to be a physician shortage between 40,800 and 104,900 by 2030, with some states experiencing more severe shortages than others.

Insider Money lists the following five states with the fewest active physicians per capita per 100,000 people.

1. Mississippi: 184.7
2. Idaho: 189.6
3. Wyoming: 196.7
4. Nevada: 197.4
5. Arkansas: 198.1
