Impact of CASC credential
According to ASCA's 2010 ASC Employee Salary & Benefits Survey, administrators with the CASC credential earned higher salaries. Administrators with the CASC credential and no clinical background had a median salary of $110,000. The median salary of an administrator with the CASC credential and a clinical background is $105,000.
Twenty percent of administrators were CASC certified in 2010, an increase of 3 percent from 2009, the biggest jump since these data reports started being collected.
