Surgery Partners ASC divestment, MFC revenue up 5.5%, Foundation HealthCare revenue up 16% & more –5 recent ASC company key notes

Here are five recent news updates on ambulatory surgery center companies.

The Surgery Partners acquisition of Symbion closed, but as required by the Federal Trade Commission, Surgery Partners will divest Blue Springs Surgery Center in Orange City, Fla.

Foundation HealthCare reported $27.4 million in revenue for the quarter, up 16 percent from the third quarter of 2013. The company's adjusted EBITDA was $3.5 million, up 26 percent from $2.8 million in the prior year's period.

Medical Facilities Corporation's consolidated facility service revenue was $77 million in its third quarter, up 5.5 percent from 73 million in the third quarter of 2013.

Laser Spine Institute opened its new facility in Mayfield Heights, Ohio, a suburb of Cleveland.

Tenet Healthcare stock traded at $46.49 per share during the week of Nov. 10 to Nov. 14, down 2.84 percent.
