Siouxland Surgery Center in Dakota Dunes, S.D., has joined the network of providers that are "preferred providers" for a partnership between Coventry Health Care and Siouxland Medical Doctors, according to a Sioux City Journal report.
The partnership aims to provide health insurance coverage to residents of four counties, focusing support for a closer relationship between patients and primary care physicians. Coventry Health offers plans through the Iowa government exchanges.
Siouxland Surgery Center includes neurosurgery, otolaryngology, gastroenterology, gynecology, pain management and orthopedics. The center is accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care.
