Seahawks’ Luke Wilson had arthroscopic knee surgery at Seattle Surgery Center, according to Seattle PI.

1. The surgery center offers orthopedics, ENT, ophthalmology, extracorporeal shockwave lithotripsy, general surgery, dermatology, colorectal, urology, plastic surgery, podiatry, pediatric surgery and pain management.

2. Orthopedic surgeon E. Edward Khalfayan, MD, performed the procedure.

3. Dr. Khalfayan is the head team physician for the Seattle Seahawks, serving as an orthopedic surgeon for the team since 1996. Dr. Khalfayan is the medical director and team orthopedic surgeon for the Seattle Mariners.

4. He is also a clinical instructor at University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle and is an editorial reviewer for the American Journal of Sports Medicine.

5. Dr. Khalfayan earned his medical degree from Saint Louis University School of Medicine and completed fellowship training in sports medicine at University of Philadelphia.
