Ryan Stewart to lead LEERINK Partners' healthcare technology investment banking franchise: 5 things to know

LEERINK Partners, an investment bank specializing in healthcare, named Ryan Stewart managing director of the healthcare technology investment banking franchise.

Here are five things to know:

1. Mr. Stewart will be in the New York office.

2. He is equipped with more than 20 years of healthcare industry experience. His previous positions in the healthcare technology industry include operating executive, management consultant, equity research analysis and investment banker.

3. Prior to this appointment, Mr. Stewart served as managing director and partner at TripleTree.

4. At TripleTree, he gained experience with value-based care enablement, population health management, patient engagement, healthcare payments and digital health solutions.

5. Mr. Stewart most recently advised Parthenon Capital's Altegra Health on their pending sale to Emdeon and Change Healthcare on their sale to Emdeon, among others.
