Putnam County Hospital Receives Grant for Ambulatory Surgery Center Equipment

The Putnam County Hospital Foundation of Unionville, Mo.-based Putnam County Hospital has received a $2,500 grant through the America's Farmers Grow Communities Monsanto Fund, which it plans to use to buy equipment for the surgery center it opened in April of 2013, according to a Heartland Connection report.

Farmers across the country registered to choose the organization to which the grant would be awarded. Putnam County Resident Robert Ray Jr. was selected, and he chose PCH as the grant recipient.

PCH is a critical access hospital, according to the report.
