Peterson Regional Medical Center's Ambulatory Care Center celebrates 15th anniversary — 5 things to know

Peterson Regional Medical Center's ACC in Kerrville, Texas, celebrated 15 years of outpatient service on June 12, according to Hill Country Community Journal.

Here are five things to know:

1. The ACC was opened by Jane Sharpe, presently the director of the center.

2. It was the first outpatient surgery center and outpatient rehabilitation and imaging center of its kind in the area.

3. Bernadine Dittmar and Meliss Machen, two staff members who have worked at the center the longest, are credited for being integral to the center's success.

4. Services provided at the facility include outpatient surgery, radiology and outpatient rehabilitation that includes physical, speech and occupational therapy services.

5. The facility houses 30 staff members and averages 45 patients each day.
