Eugene, Ore.-based McKenzie Surgery Center, a Surgical Care Affiliates (SCA) partner, welcomed Grant Rusin, MD, as the new medical director.
Dr. Rusin was selected for his ability to meet core values of SCA and McKenzie Surgery Center, such as providing high quality, low cost and highly efficient care delivery. Dr. Rusin has delivered care at the surgery center for nearly 13 years and has previous experience as medical director of another freestanding outpatient surgery center.
"As we constantly live our values at MSC, and two of those being clinical quality and continuous improvement, we look to capitalize on Dr. Rusin's passion and commitment for outstanding clinical quality and excellent patient satisfaction," said Bill Pethick, regional vice-president, operations at SCA, in a news release. "This is a partnership that will further our excellent results to our collective patients and result in the betterment of patient care to the community that we serve. We look forward to this as a long-lasting relationship."
