North Shore Eye Care, a division of SightMD, added ophthalmologist Craig Richter, MD, to its location in Huntington, N.Y.
Here are five highlights:
1. Dr. Richter will start seeing patients on Aug. 1.
2. A five-time recipient of the Patients' Choice Award, Dr. Richter has also won the Compassionate Doctor Award five times.
3. Specializing in cataract removal and lens implantation, Dr. Richter preciously served patients in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Patchogue and Huntington, all in New York.
4. Dr. Richter completed his postdoctoral training at New York City-based New York Eye & Ear Infirmary and his internship at New York-based Saint Vincent's Hospital.
5. North Shore Eye Care also serves patients in Smithtown, Garden City, Riverhead, Holbrook, Deer Park, Southampton, Southold, Queens and Hempstead.
