Casetabs is changing the way ambulatory surgery centers coordinate surgeries, thereby increasing practices' efficiency.
Here are four points:
1. Casetabs developed a mobile and desktop application which features a central hub. The hub allows providers to share case information through real-time updates throughout the surgical process.
2. Parker, Colo.-based Crown Point Surgery Center completed a quantitative analysis on Casetabs technology, which found the surgery center saved 205 hours each month through the coordination technology. The 205 hours saved translates to 696 percent return on investment for the surgery center.
3. Additionally, Torrance, Calif.-based Surgery Center of South Bay, an AmSurg-affiliated facility, also had a decrease in overtime hours and cancellations. The surgery center saved 143 hours each month after implementing Casetabs' technology.
4. Through the hours saved, South Bay Surgery Center had a 471 percent ROI.
