Consortium Health Plans partners with Violin Flash Storage Platform to improve data center: 5 key notes

Consortium Health Plans, a sales and marketing organization held by 21 Blue Cross and Blue Shield companies, chose Violin's Flash Storage Platform to future-proof existing data centers and provide business continuity services.

Here are five key notes:

1. Consortium Health Plans will use Violin's platform to stay ahead of the curve in the healthcare industry's insurance claims intake systems.

2. Violin Flash will create a data center infrastructure for Consortium Health Plans that can meet the healthcare industry's demands.

3. The technology will identify and report on Blue Plan capabilities and provide efficient Request for Information Services, among other tasks.

4. Using Violin's Concerto OS 7, Violin Flash Storage Platform allows transparency, data encryption, in-flight processing and data management services for Consortium Health Plans customers.

5. Amy D. Love, chief marketing officer of Violin Memory, said she understood why Consortium Health Plans chose their technology, as it's a "zero data loss architecture delivering tier 1 performance and scalability."
