Andrews Institute ASC picks Regent RCM to optimize revenue cycle, prepare for ICD-10: 5 things to know

Regent Revenue Cycle Management will provide services for Andrews Institute ASC in Gulf Breeze, Fla.

Regent Revenue Cycle Management is an independent division of Regent Surgical Health and provides revenue cycle management services exclusively for ambulatory surgery centers in the United States.

Here are five things to know:

1. Regent RCM will provide billings and collections, process automation and performance measurement to Andrews Institute ASC.

2. The Regent RCM team of experts will help Andrews Institute ASC develop a strategy to deploy the new ICD-10 coding system.

3. Andrews Institute ASC selected Regent RCM for its success focusing on the ASC community, according to administrator Terri Gatton, RN, CNOR, CASC.

4. Andrews Institute ASC has experienced consistent growth and developed a need to outsource revenue cycle management to stay financially healthy, but didn't need the management aspect of Regent Surgical Health's services, so Regent RCM fit well.

5. The surgery center is an affiliate of Baptist Health Care in Pensacola, Fla., and provides orthopedic surgery, pain management, neurosurgery, primary care sports medicine, plastic surgery and a total joint center. The center also includes radiology, retina specialists and vascular care.

"We're excited to work with such as prominent center in the ASC community," said Regent RCM Director Michael Orseno. "The work that Dr. Andrews and the team does is known worldwide, and we're excited to join their team to help them increase long-term profitability."
