$792M Surgery Partners- Symbion deal close, AmSurg revenue up 91% & more – 5 recent ASC company key notes

Here are five recent news updates on ambulatory surgery center companies.

AmSurg reported $503.2 million in net revenues for the third quarter, up 91.3 percent from the third quarter of 2013.

Surgery Partners, a portfolio company of H.I.G. Capital, completed the $792 million acquisition of Symbion. The now combined businesses are expected to generate more than $900 million in annual revenues.

United Surgical Partners International reported $159.2 million in net revenues for the third quarter of 2014, up from 5 percent from the previous year's period.

Hospital Corporation of America stock traded at $70.04 per share during the week of Oct. 27 to Oct. 31, down 2.83 percent.

Tenet Healthcare stock traded at $56.04 per share during the week of Oct. 27 to Oct. 31, down 3.74 percent.
