5 signs of leadership burnout

Typically, when leaders get burned out, there is nobody to tell them that they are, and hence, it is important that leaders themselves sense when they are losing their edge, according to an Inc. report.

Here are five signs of leadership burnout:

1. You keep talking about your goals, but you don't dwell on tactics.
2. You speak to the same people, and your inner circle is shrinking.
3. You never retool your message.
4. You're preoccupied with idealism or nostalgia rather than the complexities of the future.
5. You are only inspired to act periodically or sporadically.
