Healthways, global provider of well-being improvement solutions, appointed board chairman Donato J. Tramuto to president and CEO, effective Nov. 1, 2015.
Here are five points:
1. Mr. Tramuto has 35 years of global healthcare experience.
2. He has been a Healthways director for more than two years, and chairman since 2014.
3. Before joining Healthways, he co-founded Protocare and he most recently founded and worked at Physicians Interactive Holdings.
4. Mr. Tramuto also serves on the Boston University School of Public Health Dean's Advisory Board, Brown University's Executive Master of Healthcare Leadership Board and Physicians Interactive Board of Directors, among others.
5. In 2015, PM360 magazine selected him as one of the most influential healthcare leaders.
