4 Ways to Elicit Feedback From Patients

In his blog — Pediatric Inc — Brandon Betancourt, practice administrator at Salud Pediatrics in Algonquin, Ill., discusses ways to engage patients and their families so that they can provide constructive criticism.
Here are four ways:

1. Hand patients or their families a questionnaire with an addressed pre-paid envelope.
2. Send a SurveyMonkey (or any other service like SurveyMonkey) link to a questionnaire you have already prepared.
3. If you are a manager, work the front desk or answer the phones for a day or two or maybe even a week.
4. Post a sign in your waiting area that encourages feedback, positive and negative.
