Arise Healthcare, a healthcare management and development company based in Austin, Texas, has named has named Shawn Strash CEO, according to an Austin Business Journal report.
Here are three things to know about Mr. Strash.
1. Mr. Strash succeeds Jared Leger, co-founder, managing partner and CEO of Arise, who will continue as the company's managing partner, according to the report.
2. Mr. Strash most recently was senior vice president of corporate services and was a board member for AMSURG Corp., a publicly traded operator of ambulatory surgery centers.
3. Prior to joining AMSURG Corp., Mr. Strash was CEO of various other hospitals, including ParadiseValleyHospital in Phoenix; OroValleyHospital in Tucson, Ariz.; RedmondRegionalMedicalCenter in Rome, Ga.; and PalmyraMedicalCenter in Albany, Ga.
