Almost all ophthalmologists receive employer-subsidized health insurance, but few receive vision insurance, according to the Medscape Ophthalmologist Compensation Report 2017.

5. Dental insurance: 44 percent

8. Short-term disability: 28 percent
9. Healthcare savings account: 27 percent
10. Retirement plan with no employer match: 25 percent
11. Vision insurance: 23 percent
12. Commuter assistance: 4 percent
