10 fastest-growing cities in the U.S.

Which cities in the U.S. are growing the fastest? According to a report from Forbes, with the revived economy, some U.S. cities are experiencing changing growth rates, reflective of the places the oldest Millennials have begun to settle down. The following cities are "baby boomtowns," or cities to which families have begun to move at the fastest rates.

1. Raleigh, N.C., metropolitan statistical area

2. Austin, Texas

3. Las Vegas

4. Charlotte, N.C.

5. Phoenix

6. Dallas-Ft. Worth

7. Atlanta

8. Houston

9. Nashville, Tenn.

10. Orlando, Fla.

Los Angeles and the New York City metropolitan statistical area had the most drastic reductions in families with children, according to the report.
