A new medical facility in Sheboygan, Wis., that would include an outpatient facility is another step closer to becoming a reality, according to a Fox 6 Now report.
Here are five things to know:
1. Aurora Health Care launched plans to build an outpatient surgery center and medical office building in February near a local athletic field.
2. The project received the city's Common Council zoning approval.
3. Neighbors opposed the plan, but the project is going forward after an agreement with the Sheboygan School District.
4. Aurora is donating more than $2.1 million to build new sports fields nearby.
5. The medical office building and outpatient surgery center is expected to cost $86.4 million.
