WellStar Health System, based in Marietta, Ga., has officially opened its new surgery center at the WellStar East Cobb Health Park.
The new surgery center houses three operating rooms, three procedure rooms and 20 private pre- and postoperative rooms.
The WellStar East Cobb Health Park opened in Sept. 2014. The 162,000-square-foot health complex includes physician offices, diagnostics, laboratory services, therapy services, urgent care, a pharmacy and now the new surgery center.
