UnityPoint Health began construction on a medical park in Ankeny, Iowa, that will include an outpatient surgery center, according to a Business Record report.
Here are five key notes:
1. The medical park is expected to be 59,000-square-feet.
2. The UnityPoint Health Ankeny Medical Park will include family medicine, physical therapy, diagnostics, a pharmacy and urgent care in addition to outpatient surgery.
3. The Iowa Digestive Center and Iowa Radiology will include clinics in the medical park.
4. The outpatient surgery center will open in 2017 while the medical park is expected to open during the fourth quarter of next year.
5. UnityPoint Clinics already has six locations in Ankeny.
