South Florida Baptist Hospital in Plant City intends to initiate a $5.8 million expansion and renovation of its surgery center, according to a report by The Tampa Tribune.
The project will add two operating rooms, increasing the total number of ORs to seven. The hospital has taken on the project to allow more room for physicians performing complex procedures, such as spine, neurological and robotic surgery.
