Physicians Endoscopy Acquires Minority Interest in Maryland ASC
The single-specialty ambulatory surgery center operates within 5,900 squre fett of the Robinwood Medical Center, on the campus of Meritus Hospital. ECR provides outpatient endoscopic procedures specific to gastroenterology.
The four-room endoscopy center is positioned adjacent to Digestive Disorders Consultants, a five-physician practice, and Gastroenterology Associates, a three-physician practice.
"For a number of years we've contemplated adding a corporate partner to our business. Our partnership with Physicians Endoscopy provides the ideal business structure. PE has the knowledge and expertise that our center needs to run a seamless operation and take us to the next level. We look forward to a long successful relationship," said former medical director Rashid Hanif, MD.
