The former Long Island College Hospital site in New York will soon be home to a new $204 million facility, according to The Brooklyn Paper.
NYU Langone Medical Center took over the emergency department at the site last year and now plans to build a new facility, which will house a new emergency department, outpatient surgery center, cancer center and imaging center, according to the report.
The new facility will have approximately 400 employees, including 70 physicians, according to the report. The new facility is slated to begin operating in 2018.
