New Arkansas Surgery Center Opens in Little Rock

St. Vincent Health System has announced the opening of the St. Vincent Outpatient Surgery Center for Gynecology, Orthopaedics and Urology in Little Rock, Ark.

 

The grand opening for the ambulatory surgery center was held Jan. 13, while the first surgery was performed Jan. 3, according to a news release from St. Vincent.

 

The ASC is still under development, with completion targeted for July 2011, as previously reported on Becker's ASC Review.

 

Upon completion of the nearly 22,000 square-foot surgery center, the project will have cost $8 million. There will be 11 surgery suites which will be used for urology, gynecology and orthopedics.
