HealthONE's Midtown Surgical Center is affiliating with Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children in Denver.
Here are four notes:
1. The affiliation will expand the hospital's access for pediatric surgery and will bring another level of quality monitoring to HealthONE's Midtown Surgical Center.
2. Midtown Surgical Center has provided outpatient surgical services for adults and children for the last 20 years.
3. Several pediatric surgery specialists affiliated with Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children have performed pediatric surgery at the Midtown location. All the surgeries have been performed with pediatric anesthesiologists and specially trained nurses.
4. The affiliation agreement outlines guidelines for quality, staff training as well as pediatric readiness that are strictly monitored to document quality.
