Ahmed Kemmou, MD, a general surgeon in Yuma, Ariz., will start performing procedures at Tuscany Surgical Center once the facility receives a state license, according to a Yuma Sun report.
The city recently issued a certificate of occupancy for the surgery center. Dr. Kemmou has run a surgical practice in Yuma since 2007.
