Community Hospital Breaks Ground on Canyon View Surgery Center

Community Hospital in Grand Junction, Colo., just broke ground on the future Canyon View Surgery Center, slated to open in March 2014.

The surgery center is a joint venture between Community Hospital and 14 local physicians and will be part of the new 87,000-square-foot Canyon View Medical Plaza. Construction on the plaza began at the end of 2012 and is scheduled to be completed in December.

The surgery center will feature three operating rooms and provide orthopedic, urological, gynecological and other surgical procedures.
